Sawa na kami sa Frat-Related Violence!

At around 1:00 am, exactly three years ago, the lifeless body of NCPAG student leader Cris Mendez was brought to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center due to alleged hazing by a UP fraternity. Up to this point in time, NO ONE has been held accountable for his death.

To this, we cry: JUSTICE! Iskolar para sa Bayan, patuloy na tutulan ang karahasan. Hindi ito sukatan ng kadakilaan, karangalan, o kapatiran!

"In her passing, let us remember and celebrate Cory Aquino's brand of leadership that is sincere and unwavering. With this, we Iskolars para sa Bayan are called to continue the fight to preserve the democracy that the EDSA People Power Revolution restored. In doing so, we in ALYANSA believe that we must first value the freedom that we have now by exercising our right to speak and act through peaceful means against injustice--a concrete manifestation of the triumph of EDSA through Cory Aquino."
